Interview with Marat, taken on the 17.1, after his match against Dudi Sela.
After his long second round match against Dudi Sela, Marat agreed to answer some questions to all his fans
1. How do you feel you must be tired?
Marat: I am dead tired. I didnt really expect to play a second 5 set match in 3 days and I feel really really exhausted!
2. Did you expect such a difficult match?
Marat: I wasnt sure what to expect. I havent seen him play much on the atp tour but I knew he was a talented player.
I think he played very well today and I didnt take advantage of the fact that I was serving for the second set which could have made the whole match much easier.
3. How helpful was the rain delay?
Marat: It definitely helped me out. He had a strong momentum on his side and the delay helped me to regain my focus. After I won the tie break I felt pretty confident that I will win the match.
Coming back from the break and serving an ace on the first point was definitely a great help.
4. What are your feelings for your next round mach against Andy Roddick?
Marat: I always had good and strong fights in my matches with Andy. Last time I played against him was in the Davis cup semi finals which I won, but that was on clay courts. I just hope I will recover physically from the last two matches I had and then Im sure it will be a great match.
